The Loopy Shrew was a delightful surprise nestled right in the heart of Shrewsbury, surrounded by those charming black and white Tudor buildings. My mates and I recently stayed here during a romantic weekend getaway, and let me tell you—it didn’t disappoint! The warm atmosphere wrapped around us as soon as we walked in, with the staff being not just friendly but genuinely welcoming. The breakfast was a highlight, with locally sourced ingredients that spoke volumes about the love put into each dish—perfect for fueling up before exploring the higgledy-piggledy streets! Although we found ourselves snowed in, the lovely balcony promises to be a superb spot once the weather warms up for a quiet drink. I can't wait to return, perhaps with a few more friends, to fully enjoy this fantastic venue!
