The Loopy Shrew was a delightful surprise nestled right in the heart of Shrewsbury, surrounded by those charming black and white Tudor buildings. My mates and I recently stayed here during a romantic weekend getaway, and let me tell you-it didn't disappoint! The warm atmosphere wrapped around us as soon as we walked in, with the staff being not just friendly but genuinely welcoming. The breakfast was a highlight, with locally sourced ingredients that spoke volumes about the love put into each dish-perfect for fueling up before exploring the higgledy-piggledy streets! Although we found ourselves snowed in, the lovely balcony promises to be a superb spot once the weather warms up for a quiet drink. I can't wait to return, perhaps with a few more friends, to fully enjoy this fantastic venue!
